Tracy W. Cary has spent the last 15 years working to "level the playing field" between accident victims and insurance companies. He is passionately devoted to working for injured victims and works hard to prevent insurance companies from unreasonably delaying or denying legitimate claims and working to make them compensate injured victims fairly. He has represented people from all over the states of Alabama, Florida and Georgia in state and federal courts with a variety of accident and injury claims including wrongful death cases, car wrecks, trucking accidents, motorcycle wrecks, workers' compensation claims, dog bite incidents, consumer fraud, Social Security disability claims, insurance bad faith claims and product defect claims.

Mr. Cary has also authored and published a consumer-rights book - The Injured Worker's Survival Guide -The Five Mistakes That Can Wreck Your Workers' Compensation Claim - and has also authored many articles and reports to help accident victims. Mr. Cary received his law degree in 1992 from the University of Alabama. He received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Florida in 1985. He served as an officer in the United States Army and the Alabama Army National Guard. He is married with four children. He is active in his church, Covenant United Methodist Church, and in his community. Mr. Cary has been peer rated by other lawyers as having very high ethics rating, which denotes adherence to professional standards of conduct and ethics, reliability, diligence and other criteria relevant to the discharge of professional responsibilities. In addition, in legal abilities, his peers rated him very high.

Personal:

Mr. Cary was born in Kansas City, Kansas and grew up in the panhandle of Florida in a family of nine children. As a teenager, Mr. Cary furthered his musical interests by spending 18 months traveling across 45 states playing guitar in a Christian musical group that performed in prisons, churches and schools. Later, Mr. Cary attended a semester of Bible training at Capernwray Bible School in Lancashire, England.

Mr. Cary worked his way through college and law school, at times working as many as three jobs at the same time. After graduating from the University of Florida's College of Journalism and Communications, Mr. Cary entered the U.S. Army where he was named Trainee Leader of the Cycle in basic training and then completing the Army's Officer Candidate School where he was commissioned a second lieutenant in the field artillery. After completing a three-year tour of duty in the Army's "Big Red One" Mr. Cary entered the University of Alabama School of Law, graduating in December, 1992. During law school and afterwards, Mr. Cary served as a captain in the Alabama Army Nation Guard in both the Field Artillery and the Judge Advocate General's Corps.

After law school, Mr. Cary served as law clerk and staff attorney to Justice Hugh Maddox of the Alabama Supreme Court. After serving at the Alabama Supreme Court, Mr. Cary began his practice exclusively in civil litigation.

Mr. Cary enjoys playing bass and guitar in the contemporary worship service at Covenant United Methodist Church and he also enjoys spending time with family, sports, reading, writing and traveling.

Mr. Cary and his wife Susan are the proud parents of three daughters: Rachel, Sara, and Emma, and a son Eli.
